Is there a cost for cancelling a workshop?
If for any reason you need to cancel, you may do so up to 7 days before the first date of your workshop(s). If you cancel after this time, depending on which workshop was chosen, costs may be charged for materials.

How should the workspace be set up?
A normal classroom arrangement is usually fine. If however the workshop is to take place in a hall or other large space, Space Detectives will require tables, chairs and most importantly access to power. Whilst a screen and projector could also be useful, this is not necessary as can be provided. Space Detectives will advise the type of room most suitable for the workshop/presentation/event chosen at the time of booking.

Are Space Detectives DBS Checked?
Anyone involved with Space Detectives holds a full enhanced DBS check which is renewed yearly.

Are Space Detectives Insured?
Space Detectives holds full public liability insurance and the relevant documents can be supplied if required. All activities are also risk assessed in line with this policy. Risk Assessments can be provided if required.

What is NOT included in the price of a workshop/presentation?
Venue booking and any related costs
Travel, Subsistence and accommodation (if required). Please refer to the T&C's

How many Workshops can be fit into a day?
4 Mini Workshops can be accommodated in one day
2 Full Workshops can be accommodated in one day

Can we use Space Detectives logo for marketing and promotion?
Yes but only when a workshop/presentation or event has been booked and all such materials will be subject to Space Detective approval.

Can we invite local press?
Yes but please notify Space Detectives at the time of booking, so that any safeguarding policies can be adhered to.
